Hello again!

It has been great getting these inital posts back and I am even more encouraged about the site.  How can we get more people involved?  The more people on the site, the more perspectives, ideas and support. 

I think I am going to send an email to all of my parent friends to let them know about the site.  I am going to include people who don't live in our area, too.  I was thinking that I can also share it with the director of my son's little playgroup/ school to share in our newsletter.

Any other ideas?

Great ideas!  I can't stop telling people about the site now that the conference is over and there is still so much great information at our finger tips.  I am recommending the site as a place to visit if you missed the conference and a great follow up to the conference.  Also, when talking with others my recommendation is that if you are doing anything online, this is the site to begin.  With the compass you can really make all of the tips and ideas your own and organize the information with regard to your own family.

A couple of additional groups I am going to email the address to are the parents and coaches of my children's teams, their teachers and my husband! 

Does anyone else have ideas to bring more parents together? 

I agree that's it's great to have started these connections. another thought I have is if anyone is active on facebook, twitter or other social networking sites, they could use those mechanisms to "invite" their friends to participate in one of these forums. That could be a great way to expand the reach, which as you point out would make these discussions more meaningful. I have sent out this forum link to some of my friends, and am encouraging them to participate.
