Do you find yourself saying, “There are not enough hours in the day to get everything done?” Are you exhausted at night? Are you constantly running your kids from one activity to the next? Are you working -- and on the PTO board -- while trying to cram in some time for homework?

Take a few minutes to read Teaching Values [later]. Examine your own values. What’s most important to you? What activities could be cut to allow you and your family to simplify your lives? Is there an activity that one of your children doesn’t get excited about? Is there a less time-consuming role you could take to become involved at school?
