Privacy Policy

At MyParentingSource.com, a service of Beech Acres Parenting Center (“Beech Acres”), we want to encourage an open exchange of information and ideas. If your conduct while using the MyParentingSource.com forums/blogs violates any of the following Privacy Policy terms, we reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to remove your content and or ban you from these forums.

  1. If you want to participate in a forum at MyParentingSource.com, you will be required to register. At the time of registration, you may be prompted by our registration form to provide certain personal information to us, including your name, city, state, zip, phone number and email address. You may review and edit your registration data by using your user ID and password. If you cancel your account, you may request to have your registration data deleted from MyParentingSource.com’s database by sending your request to MyParentingSource.com’s Site Administrator. Please be aware that even if you delete your registration data, there may remain residual information in MyParentingSource.com’s databases, access logs and other records, which may or may not contain personally identifiable information. Also, please be aware that once posted, you cannot change or remove any postings made at MyParentingSource.com. To create your own blog or a Parenting Compass page, (or remove a Parenting Compass page or yourself as the blog creator) contact the MyParentingSource.com Site Administrator.
  2. We use registration data for demographic information and sometimes to send you information about MyParentingSource.com and or Beech Acres and our services. The information we gather is kept confidential and is used in the aggregate for statistical purposes. Your personal information will not be purposely released to any third party for any marketing or solicitation purpose without your permission. We may release personal information when you violate any material term of our Terms of Use. Beech Acres may merge or be acquired by another business entity or may sell all or substantially all of its assts to an acquirer. In the event of such merger, acquisition or sale, Beech Acres may share some or all or your personally identifiable information with the acquiring company.
  3. Our Parenting Compass feature helps you journal information that is personal to you, while other areas of MyParentingSource.com allow you to share information with others. You choose what information you put in your personal Parenting Compass pages and at the public areas of MyParentingSource.com. While the information you post at your personal Parenting Compass page is password protected, please remember that no information posted to the Internet is entirely protected.
  4. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any site linked to MyParentingSource.com. You should be careful to review any privacy policies of such other organizations before using such site.
  5. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from subscribers under thirteen years of age. MyParentingSource.com is not directed or intended for children under thirteen years of age. If you are under thirteen years of age, you should not register to become a user or provide personally identifiable information on the site. If you are the parent or guardian of a user under the age of thirteen whom you believe has disclosed personally identifiable information at MyParentingSource.com, please contact us here so that we may delete and remove such user’s information from our system.
